La reputazione di VAETH (i tedeschi lo scrivono VÄTH e lo pronunciano Fet!) nel mondo tuning ha ormai superato gli stretti confini nazionali tedeschi. Le preparazioni dello specialista di Hoesbach, vicino a Francoforte – da sempre legato al marchio della Stella – si distinguono per l’alto livello di finitura e per l’upgrade a livello di potenza ed erogazione. In particolare, VAETH da sempre è un vero mago nel migliorare motori, sistemi di scarico, telai, cerchi, aerodinamica, interni e tutto quanto può servire a rendere la tua Mercedes un vero mostro, unico nel suo genere.
L’ultima creazione dello specialista tedesco è una C63 AMG che monta un kit di elaborazione denominato V63S che comprende una nuova elettronica per il motore e un nuovo sistema di raffreddamento dell’olio che fa salire gli originali 477 CV fino a quota 609, con 810 Nm di coppia e una velocità massima ben oltre i 300 chilometri orari. Certo: non è una spesa da poco, visto che si parte da 3.950 euro (montaggio escluso) solo per questi due step, al quale potete aggiungere il kit per ottimizzare anche i turbocompressori e salire quindi a quota 660-680 CV.
Ai suoi clienti, però, VAETH consiglia di abbinare a questo kit altri ritocchi fondamentali: le tubazioni di tipo aeronautico per i freni, il liquido freni racing Castrol SRF (450 euro più montaggio), le molle ribassate (365 euro), i cerchi 9.0Jx20 (420 euro al pezzo) con gomme da 255/30ZR20 all’anteriore e 275/30ZR20 al posteriore. Ciliegina sulla torta: il nuovo tachimetro con fondoscala a 360 km/h (1.290 euro più il montaggio), il set di pedali in alluminio e i tappetini in velluto con il logo VAETH.

This time, a C63 AMG (based upon 477 / 511 HP) was “caught”. Now, by means of V63S tuning kit, containing the engine electronics individual fine tuning, Vmax unlocking and VAETH oil cooling installation, the hardly four liters of engine capacity will render 609 HP (= 448 kW) with 810 Nm of torque and – depending on tire speed rating – Vmax of 300 to 320 kmph (186…199 mph). For this, 3,950.00 Euro and 350.00 Euro for mounting are brought to account. If needed, you can chose also a kit named V 63 RS, giving 660 to 680 HP by help of optimized turbochargers and down pipe.
Such an ample performance like this demands brake optimizing with steel flex tubes, vehicle type approval and Castrol SRF racing brake fluid in a nearly obligatory way, to have for 450.00 Euro plus 200.00 Euro for mounting. The sportive and, nevertheless, comfortable and safe lowering by 15…40 mm demands 690.00 Euro with lowering springs and coilover plus 365.00 Euro for mounting including axle alignment. Let’s now have a look at the offered by VAETH single-part wheels in silver or black, dimensioned 9.0Jx20, for 420.00 Euro per piece, mounting set included. As appropriate tires 255/30ZR20 for front and 275/30ZR20 for rear axle are recommended.
Besides speedometer extension to 360 kmph for 1,290.00 Euro plus 100.00 Euro mounting, an aluminum pedal set is available for automatics car interior for 150.00 Euro plus 30.00 Euro mounting. And finally, there is a set of wear resistant black velour foot mats with silver VAETH logo for 190.00 Euro.
